George Grant Mason Elementary Kindergarten students are on their way to first grade!
Mrs. Rush’s class celebrated the occasion with a “Moving Up” picnic. Our Kindergartners were joined by family, friends and TUFSD faculty and staff for a tie-dye activity and ice cream picnic.
Before students cooled off with some ice cream, Ms. Rush thanked everyone gathered for a wonderful school year. She then gave each student a copy of the Dr. Seuss classic “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!,” and reminded her future first-graders that no matter where they go, she will always be there for them.
“And will you succeed? Yes! You will, indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed.)”\
