Congratulations to the George Grant Mason Class of 2024! In a moving, heartfelt ceremony in front of family and friends, they moved up from fifth grade and officially became middle schoolers.
GGM Principal Dr. Melissa Jean-Paul reminded them, “you are now, and will continue to be, part of the GGM family! You will always have a place to visit and reminisce about the fun filled times that you had while you were here with us.”
Fifth grade teachers Devan Stack and Michelle Valastro also spoke about how special this class is to each of them, and the lasting impression each student has made on their hearts.
Before the students received their certificates, they performed the classic hit song “Stand By Me” under the direction of music teacher Cailin Cienki.
After the ceremony, the graduates gathered up with their guests to enjoy some refreshments provided by Chef Anthony and the Tuxedo kitchen staff.
