eighth grade grad

Congratulations to the George F. Baker Middle School Class of 2024! Fifteen eighth graders were honored in a ceremony held in the George F. Baker High School Auditorium today, June 21.

Assistant Superintendent and GFB Principal Jared Kahmar shared some words of wisdom with the graduates in his opening remarks, encouraging them to “always work hard, have fun, and never quit.”

Emcee and Middle School Student Council Advisor Jenna Park presented four state awards and

numerous others recognizing excellence in academics, arts, athletics and leadership. After friends, families, faculty and staff watched the rising ninth graders receive their diplomas, students celebrated with their guests over snacks in the GFB library.

A special thanks to all of the middle school teachers who helped steer these Tornadoes towards their special day.

Congratulations to all!
