More accolades for the Tuxedo Tornadoes volleyball team!
The New York State Volleyball Coaches Association recently announced its All-State selections for the 2024 fall season, and we are thrilled to celebrate the following George F. Baker athletes who earned spots on the NYSPHSAA Class D All-Star Teams:
• First Team All-State: senior Madison Marsh
• Second Team All-State: junior Evangeleen Ortiz
• Fifth Team All-State: senior Casey Juance
A special congratulations to Madison Marsh, who was also named to the State Final Four Class D All-Tournament Team for her outstanding performance!
The New York State Volleyball Coaches Association is made up of dedicated coaches from across the state who work together to promote the sport of volleyball through knowledge sharing, player and coach recognition, and clinic and training sessions.
In addition, we are excited to announce that junior Sarah Cruz was honored with the State Final Four Sportsmanship Award, voted on by her teammates for embodying the true spirit of sportsmanship!
