Valter

The Tuxedo Union Free School District is pleased to welcome Valter Ulaj to the George F. Baker High School English Language Arts (ELA) department!

With more than 12 years of teaching experience across elementary, middle, and high school levels, Mr. Ulaj is passionate about inspiring a love of literature and learning in students of all ages. His impressive background includes teaching AP English Literature and Composition, creative writing, and AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) courses. He

has also taken on leadership roles as English department chair, teacher leader, and mentor teacher.

Beyond the classroom, Mr. Ulaj has coached girls varsity soccer and directed a thriving theater program, showcasing his dedication and creativity.

Mr. Ulaj began his new role in the GFB classroom on January 20, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board. We look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students and school community. Welcome to Tuxedo!
