Community Scholarship Recipients

Congratulations to three outstanding GFB students who were honored recently by members of the administration for their incredible achievements! Acting Superintendent Nancy Teed, Assistant Superintendent of Instruction Jared Kahmar, and School Counselor Chris Oliva shared the exciting news with the students this morning.

Senior Anthony Posta received the Joseph Edward Zupko Art Award for his exceptional artistic talent, dedication, and deep understanding of the creative process.

Senior Camila Granillo was awarded the John Edward Paul Skvarla III Award for her compelling essay on environmental issues, showcasing her passion for making a difference.

 Sophomore Emilia Kainatsky earned the Laundry Road Math Award for achieving the highest score on the Geometry Regents exam—an incredible academic accomplishment!

Each of these talented students received a scholarship to support their postsecondary education, thanks to the generosity of a dedicated community member who continues to invest in our students' futures.
