Our results are truly outstanding: 57% of our graduating class took at least one AP exam, exceeding the benchmark for College Culture and demonstrating our strong commitment to fostering a college-going mindset and encouraging academic challenge.
Even more impressive, 57% of our graduates earned a score of 3 or higher on at least one AP exam, qualifying us for Platinum-level recognition in College Credit. This means that more than half of our students are leaving high school with real college credit in hand.
We also achieved Platinum status in College Optimization, with 21% of our students taking five or more AP exams throughout their high school years, including at least one exam in 9th or 10th grade. This reflects thoughtful academic planning, long-term growth, and a supportive learning environment that helps students build skills over time without unnecessary pressure.
We are immensely proud of our students, educators, and families for making this achievement possible and for continuing to raise the bar for excellence at Tuxedo. ❤️🌪️#TuxedoPride #TuxedoUFSD #APSchoolHonorRoll

National Honor Society Vice President, Sarah Cruz, and Secretary, Darya Vishnevskaya, created an inspirational bulletin board at GFB. The goal is inspire students to do their best and to be positive. We love valuing social and emotional learning at Tuxedo! Thank you to our very own students for promoting this in the halls of our school! #TuxedoPride #TuxedoUFSD

Our GFB Pep Rally was filled with excitement and school spirit as students in grades 6–12 proudly represented their classes by decking out the halls in their grade colors. The celebration continued with an energetic pep rally featuring fun games like volleyball, musical chairs, and a variety of other activities that had everyone cheering and laughing. Thank you to everyone who helped organize this special event and make it such a memorable experience for our students, it was such a fun-filled afternoon! ❤️#TuxedoPride #TuxedoUFSD #TuxedoPepRally

Beyond her daily responsibilities, Joann gave so much of her heart to our students. She coached Modified Softball, encouraging teamwork, confidence, and perseverance both on and off the field. She was also instrumental in organizing, collecting, and distributing donations for our Thanksgiving food baskets and for the holiday toy drive through the Outreach Program, ensuring that families in our community felt supported, cared for, and remembered during the most meaningful times of the year.
Joann’s impact goes far beyond the roles she held. She brought warmth, reliability, and genuine compassion to everything she did. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of service, generosity, and love for this community will always remain. We are incredibly grateful for all that Joann has given to Tuxedo, and we wish her nothing but happiness in the next chapter of her journey. ❤️ #TuxedoUFSD #TuxedoPride #ThankYouMrs.Martin

🧠 Adolescent Psychology in Action! 👓
Ms. Jones’s Adolescent Psychology class had a blast exploring how the brain works and how plasticity allows it to adapt and change. Students wore vision-altering goggles to experience firsthand how the brain adjusts to new challenges. This turned a fun, hands-on activity into a powerful learning moment about perception, adaptation, and growth. #TuxedoPride #TuxedoUFSD
