Get ready for some weekend fun! Saturday Basketball, a revival of a popular past program run by community volunteers, begins March 8 and will run for 8 weeks. Volleyball Open Gym begins March 17th

Calling all volleyball players and aspiring volleyball players. Students in grades 4th-6th (Monday nights) and 7th-12th (Thursday nights) are invited to participate in weekly skills development and scrimmaging, led by some of our Tuxedo Volleyball Alumni. Basketball Open Gym begins on March 12th !
Open to 9th-12th graders, parents and friends, every Wednesday at the school gym. Arrive at 7:00PM to get in a game. Get involved in some 3 on 3 pickup games. No registration is required, but waiver forms are a must and are available on site.
Next week is a weeklong celebration of Read Across America at George Grant Mason Elementary! Activities and events will take place from Monday, March 3 until Friday, March 7. Check out the fun Spirit Week themes in the attached flyer!

Rockland Community College is hosting a Construction Careers Night on Thursday, March 27. There will be hands on demonstrations supervised by professionals from Rockland, Orange and Westchester counties who will introduce the many career opportunities and growth potential in the Construction Industry. ADMISSION IS FREE.

This session will provide an overview of the 6th-grade experience, including our 6th Grade and Middle School curriculum, clubs, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session where you can ask any questions about the transition to middle school.
The content will be geared towards families, however, students are welcome to attend. A tour and orientation will be held in June for our incoming 6th graders. We look forward to welcoming our future middle schoolers and their families! See you there!

The Tuxedo PTO has coordinated with the Emergency Services Department of Orange County, NY to hold a CPR/AED certification class on March 26, 2025. We will be running two classes from 3PM-6PM and 6PM-9PM. During this three hour class, you will learn to administer CPR and AED to an adult, child or infant. There will be a practical, at the end of class, which is required for receiving your certification, which is good for two years. You must attend the entire class and pass the practical to get certified.
This class is FREE and available to all GFB students (Grades 6-12th), TUFSD staff, parents and community members who live, work or go to school in Orange County, NY. Registration is required. The deadline for registration is March 12th.
